Angie Atkins is the President & CEO of the Jenks Chamber of Commerce, bringing more than 25 years of experience in chamber leadership, communications, and marketing. In her current role, she leads strategic planning, membership development, board relations, revenue generation, and regional marketing initiatives.
Prior to joining the Jenks Chamber, Angie served as President & CEO of the Goddard Chamber of Commerce in Kansas, where she drove significant organizational growth, enhanced operational efficiency, and implemented marketing and community engagement initiatives. Her career also includes roles in communications and marketing across nonprofit, public, and private organizations, including the Workforce Alliance of South-Central Kansas, Communities In Schools, and Sedgwick County Government.
Angie began her career in communications and marketing, gaining extensive experience in media relations, brand development, event planning, digital strategy, and organizational messaging. She is crisis communications trained and has experience working with national media outlets, providing strategic messaging and media relations support during high-profile and complex situations.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wichita State University and recently completed her third year of the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organization Management (IOM).
Outside of work, Angie enjoys traveling and is a competitive powerlifter.
